Aaron Likens

Aaron Likens, public speaker and author of “Finding Kansas: Living and Decoding Asperger’s Syndrome,” will be speaking this month at Faith Lutheran Jr. and Sr. High School Wednesday, April 25 at 7PM. After being diagnosed with Asperger’s himself, Likens has dedicated his life to writing and speaking in order to inform people about the spectrum and how it feels for those on it. Dedicate some of your time this Autism Awareness Month to learn more about those who struggle with Autism/Asperger’s and how we can help them.

Hey, everyone! We’d just like to let you all know that Brain Solutions will be at the Future Horizons Autism/Asperger’s Conference on Friday, March 9! We will have a booth, so be sure to stop by, say hello, and take whatever goodies we may have lying around.

If you don’t know what the convention is, Future Horizons holds a conference to help those with or close to those with Austim and Asperger’s and provide them with resources to feel confident and face head-on the difficulties life might bring for them. Special guest speakers will be Jennifer McIlwee, Paula Aquilla, and none other than Dr. Temple Grandin! There will also be booths and resources by different groups and corporations providing information about them and how they can help those with Autism and/or Asperger’s.
